West Ham United are after Norwich City midfielder James Maddison.

Reports have suggested that West Ham have made a £12 million bid for Maddison, but the local paper claims these rumours are incorrect.
West Ham are not believed to have submitted an offer for the attacking midfielder, and even if they did, £12 million would not be enough.

Norwich have slapped a huge price tag on their star midfielder and are under no pressure to sell, after already offloading Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield Town this transfer window.
West Ham are looking to improve their attacking options, as David Moyes chases additions before the end of the month.
It would appear doubtful that West Ham will submit huge funds for Maddison, as they have other deals in the pipeline.
The Hammers are set to bring in Joao Mario and are in talks with Leander Dendoncker.

If West Ham were to bring in Maddison, it would be an impressive addition, given the youngster’s scintillating form in the Championship this term.
Maddison has scored seven goals and claimed five assists in 26 league matches for Norwich this season.
