West Ham United have been discussing the possibility of signing Islam Slimani from Leicester City.

Leicester have put a £30 million asking price on Slimani, who is unlikely to leave the King Power Stadium on loan.
West Ham have been discussing a move for Slimani, and David Moyes is thought to be a huge fan of the target-man.

However, at £30 million he would be a very expensive addition, and that could put West Ham off.
The Hammers co-chairman David Sullivan has promised that Moyes will have funds to spend on new players this month, but the London club have been quiet so far.
West Ham have made just one addition, with Joao Mario arriving on loan from Inter Milan.

The Hammers are thought to be looking to improve their forward line, but a move for Slimani may prove too costly.
Slimani has struggled for game time at Leicester this season, and has scored five goals in 17 appearances across all competitions.
