Rangers have signed the 20-year-old defender on a four-year contract, with The Express claiming that West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen wanted the youngster as well.
The report has added that the Gers paid Leicester £230,000 in cross border compensation fee as his contract was running out this summer, with the player valued at £3 million.
The Daily Record has claimed that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers wanted the 20-year-old – who can operate as a central defender or as a left-back and is eligible to play for England, Italy and Nigeria – to stay.

Bassey is likely to be drafted straight into the Rangers first team next season, and his versatility means that the youngster will be able to provide cover in central defence and at left-back.
The youngster could prove to be an important player in the Gers’ quest to stop their bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th season in a row in 2020-21.
