West Ham United boss David Moyes said that he wanted a right-winger earlier this month.

David Moyes has been searching for a right-winger for much of the transfer window so far, and he could have found his ideal option at West Ham United in Gerard Deulofeu.
Deulofeu returned to Barcelona last summer, but the signings of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele have knocked him down the pecking order.

The Spaniard could now become an option for West Ham, and he could solve Moyes’ big problem.
Moyes has already gone on record to state that he needs a right-winger, as Michail Antonio is out injured.
“Michail Antonio has not fully recovered from a groin problem. Our medical people believe it could clear up in a couple of weeks but if not it could be more serious,” Moyes said to the London Evening Standard.
“We’re not sure yet but if it is the latter – and that would be a real shame – we will need to go out to try to make a suitable signing this month because we will need someone who plays down that righthand side.”
And Deulofeu could be a seriously exciting prospect to add to West Ham’s current squad.
Deulofeu is well known in England, due to his spell at Everton, and although he is still a raw prospect – he has a great deal of ability.

The 23-year-old possesses an enviable amount of dribbling skill, and if he can work on his final ball he could be a major threat.
And if West Ham are looking for a right-winger, it would be hard to find too many better options than Deulofeu available to them.
