West Ham United have been linked with Bournemouth’s Harry Arter in the January transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that West Ham manager David Moyes is ready to make a £15 million bid for the 27-year-old midfielder.
“Moyes is a big fan of the competitive Ireland star who would put muscle in his midfield,” states the report in The Sun. “He could also be an eventual successor to Mark Noble as the club’s homegrown ‘heart’.”

Arter has been on the books of Bournemouth since 2010 and has been a key figure for the club in recent years.
The Republic of Ireland international midfielder has also proven himself in the Premier League.
The former Woking man is a hard-working and dedicated footballer who would be a good signing for West Ham.

However, with Bournemouth struggling for survival in the Premier League, manager Eddie Howe may not be eager to sell a player of Arter’s experience.
West Ham are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Bournemouth are currently a point and place behind the Hammers in the standings.
Both the Hammers and the Cherries will be hoping for positive results over the festive period.
