Report: West Ham United send transfer warning, want £75m for Issa Diop

West Ham United defender Issa Diop is currently interesting Manchester United.

West Ham United have asked for Anthony Martial from Manchester United as a warning in their chase of Issa Diop.

The Daily Mirror claims that West Ham weren’t actually thinking that they could sign Martial, when they proposed a swap deal for Diop.

However, they wanted the Red Devils to know just how determined that they are to keep Diop at the London Stadium this summer.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have no interested in selling Diop, and his price tag is even higher than previously reported.

West Ham want £75 million for the centre-back before they would even consider listening to offers from United.

It may well be time for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side to move on from signing the West Ham man now.

The chances of Manchester United trading Martial for Diop seem very minimal, and it is highly unlikely that they will stump up the sort of cash that West Ham are demanding.
