West Ham United are said to be considering replacing Marko Arnautovic with Maxi Gomez.

According to Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, West Ham United representatives have travelled to Spain, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side aim to get a deal for Maxi Gomez done.

West Ham are now in discussions for the Celta Vigo striker, in what could be a club record deal.

The Express claim that West Ham will need to pay £44 million for the forward, who is ranked as one of the hottest properties in Spain.

And West Ham representatives are now said to be in Vigo, as they look to thrash out a deal.

And most the fee that the receive for their current top scorer, could be re-invested in Gomez, in a transfer which would raise eye brows across the Premier League.

Gomez has notched nine goals in 17 La Liga appearances this season, and his combination of power and technical ability would make him a stunning addition for West Ham.
