According to The Guardian, West Ham United are interested in signing Wigan Athletic full back Antonee Robinson this summer.
It’s claimed that the Hammers are monitoring his situation ahead of potentially making a move, though there is fierce competition for him.
Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are keen, with AC Milan possibly still keen having seen a deal for him fall through in January due to medical issues.
West Ham are now keen, and they could land a bargain. Wigan are entering administration, meaning some players could be moved on for cut-price fees.
Robinson was heading to Milan for £10million in January, but a £1.5million release clause upon relegation means the United States international could be a bargain according to The Telegraph.
That sort of price is impossible for West Ham to ignore. They won’t have a huge budget this summer, and they must add a new left back.

Aaron Cresswell has been found wanting of late, and Arthur Masuaku’s future is unclear. Robinson can come in and offer real pace going forward as well as having huge potential.
David Moyes has shown a willingness to shop in the Championship. He landed Jordan Hugill from Preston North End in January 2018, and then Jarrod Bowen from Hull City earlier this year.
Robinson could be the next player to step up, and if they can land him for £1.5million, they would be foolish to ignore him.
