West Ham United forward Andy Carroll is currently out injured, but Manuel Pellegrini reportedly wants to sell him.
West Ham have already brought in a number of additions in attacking areas to bolster their forward options for the upcoming campaign, and a bid is still lodged for Porto striker Moussa Marega.
West Ham now have fierce competition for places at the London Stadium, and Carroll has reportedly been deemed expendable by Pellegrini.
However the target-man, who is on a £70,000-a-week contract at West Ham (Daily Star), is keen to stay and fight for his place.
Carroll has reportedly told West Ham that he has no intention of dropping down to the Championship, as he still believes he can force his way back into contention.
Carroll is currently out injured for the Hammers, but when he returns to fitness, Pellegrini seemingly has no plans to bring him back into his starting line-up imediately.
