West Ham United reportedly want Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere is out of contract at Arsenal this summer, and Everton, Newcastle, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Watford all are reported to be interested in the England international midfielder.

West Ham, though, are claimed to be leading the chase for the 26-year-old, with the Hammers reported to have stepped up their pursuit following the long-term injury suffered by Argentina international attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
Good signing for West Ham United?
Wilshere has had injury issues in recent years, but the Arsenal midfielder played well during the 2017-18 campaign.

West Ham could do with a dynamic midfielder like the 26-year-old who can pass the ball well and drive the team forward.
Signing the England international on a free transfer would also be a coup for the Hammers, although it will be interesting to see if the London club would be willing to pay Wilshere his high wages.
