According to Goal.com, West Ham United are interested in signing Nathaniel Clyne from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Liverpool will allow the 28-year-old right-back to leave at the end of the season and will want around £15 million as transfer fee.

The former Southampton defender is on loan at Bournemouth at the moment, having joined the Cherries from the Reds in the January transfer window until the summer of 2019.

According to Goal.com, Bournemouth want to secure the services of the England international on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.

Good signing for West Ham United?

Clyne is a very good right-back who has done well in the Premier League and knows the division inside out.

West Ham do need an experienced right-back, as Pablo Zabaleta is past his prime, and Clyne does fit the bill.

The England international has made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Bournemouth since his loan move from Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to WhoScored.
