West Ham United are interested in signing Tom Cairney from Fulham in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

According to Sky Sports, Fulham signed Cairney from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2015 for £3m.

West Ham are not the only club who are reported to be interested in the former Hull City star, though.

According to The Northern Echo, West Ham’s Premier League rivals, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion, are interested in securing the series of Cairney this month as well.

Both Newcastle and West Brom need to enhance the quality of their respective midfield for the second half of the season, and Cairney would be a good signing for either club.

With the Hammers reportedly open to spending as much as £15m for Cairney, it remains to be seen if the Magpies or the Baggies will be willing to match that offer.
