West Ham United are interested in signing Andre Silva from Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
It has been reported that West Ham are on the hunt for a new striker following the departure of Sebastien Haller to Ajax earlier this month, and that Silva is one of the players the London club are looking at as a potential replacement.
Good signing for West Ham United?
Silva had a loan spell at Frankfurt from AC Milan in 2019-20 before making the deal permanent.
According to WhoScored, the Portugal international striker has scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 17 matches in the Bundesliga and has scored one goal in two DFB Pokal games so far this season.
The former FC Porto and AC Milan striker is doing well at the moment and is at the right age to make an impact at West Ham.
The Hammers need a striker who can make an instant impact and can also be a goalscorer in the long run. Silva, who is a client of super agent Jorge Mendes, could be that player.
