West Ham United are aiming to complete a deal for Scott Hogan this week.
According to a report in the Guardian, West Ham United are hoping to seal a deal for Brentford forward Scott Hogan in the next few days.
West Ham have been working on signing Hogan throughout the January transfer window to date.
The Hammers initially had two offers rejected by Brentford, but the Championship club appear to have realised that they are facing a losing battle to keep hold of their star striker.
Hogan was left out of Brentford’s team, when they took on Newcastle United in their most recent match.
And West Ham are now confident that they will get their man in the very near future.
Slaven Bilic’s side are thought to have had to pay £15 million to secure the signing of Hogan.
Hogan has scored 14 goals in 26 appearances so far this season for Brentford, and is one of the most in-form strikers in the Championship.
If he was to join West Ham, he would be in competition with the likes of Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho for a starting place.
