West Ham United will be looking to offload senior trio Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna & Javier Hernandez this summer, according to a report.

The Daily Mail have claimed that the Hammers have asked about Fulham’s Aleksander Mitrovic and Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan and they will be looking to sell Obiang, Ogbonna and Hernandez in order to raise funds for the attacking duo.

The above trio featured regularly for Manuel Pellegrini during the recently concluded campaign, whether it be starting from the off or making numerous appearances from the bench in Hernandez’s case.

Striker Hernandez, who has two Premier League medals to his name, scored seven goals in the league last season [transfermarkt] and made 11 appearances from the bench.

Centre-back Ogbonna and defensive-minded midfielder Obiang both made 24 league appearances [transfermarkt], with the latter being in and out of the starting XI.

Either way, it isn’t a surprise that the Hammers want to part ways with those players as they will be looking to take the next step on the ladder next term.

Striker Mitrovic could potentially solve a number of problems for them as the Fulham man has shown huge maturity since his days at St James’ Park.

His experience, ability to put the ball in the back of the net at a high level could prove to be very valuable for Pellegrini, who didn’t have a consistent goalscorer last term.

As for Eibar’s Jordan, he is a more attack-minded midfielder and if he were to put pen-to-paper then he would add a more attacking threat to West Ham’s midfield.
