West Ham United are interested in signing Sergi Enrich from Eibar in the summer transfer window, according to The Sunday People (print edition, page 51, April 16, 2017).
It has been reported that West Ham have enquired about the 27-year-old forward, who is also claimed to be on the radar of French club Marseille.
The Hammers reportedly hope to clinch a £5 million deal for the former Spain Under-19 international, but interest from Marseille could force them to pay more.
Enrich has been on the books of Eibar since 2015 and has a contract with the Spanish club until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Spaniard has scored 10 goals and created 30 chances in 31 La Liga appearances for Eibar so far this season, according to Squawka.com.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the 27-year-old scored nine goals and created 30 chances in 38 league matches, according to Squawka.com.
Eibar are eighth in the La Liga table at the moment with 50 points from 31 matches, while West Ham are 13th in the Premier League standings and Marseille are sixth in Ligue 1.
