West Ham United have been linked with a Millwall player.

West Ham United are preparing a move for Millwall defender Mahlon Romeo, according to The Sun.
The 20-year-old has impressed for the Lions so far this season and has started all six of his club’s League One outings.
The right-back joined Millwall from Gillingham last summer, but is a move to the Premier League on the horizon?

The Sun (page 63) have reported that West Ham are set to move for the Antigua and Barbuda international, with the report going on to claim that he is rated at around £2 million.
That being said, the would-be move would not be completed until January at the earliest following the closure of the summer transfer window on Wednesday.

West Ham signed right-back Alvaro Arbeloa on deadline day – one of 10 summer signings by Slaven Bilic – but at 33, the Spaniard cannot be relied on for the long term.
West Ham have won one and lost two of their first three Premier League games of the season, though the defeats did come away to high-flying Chelsea and Manchester City.
