West Ham United have been said to be targeting a swap deal for Andy Carroll with Chelsea.

Carroll has surprisingly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this month, with Chelsea keen to snap up the West Ham man.
And David Moyes is said to be open to selling the target-man, if he can land Batshuayi in exchange.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte appears to have reservations over utilising Batshuayi as his first choice striker, but West Ham have been keen for some time.
The Belgian international has been on the Hammers’ wishlist for months now, despite failing to nail down a first-team place since moving to Chelsea.

If Batshuayi was to move to West Ham, he would join a host of strikers at the London Stadium.
West Ham already have the likes of Javier Hernandez, Diafra Sakho and Jordan Ayew at the club, with the competition for places proving fierce.
It could be a smart move by Moyes though, as Batshuayi has more room to develop than Carroll, and the England international’s struggles to stay fit, make the Chelsea striker look like a better option.
