West Ham are keen to add a right-back to their squad this summer.
West Ham United are eyeing a move for Nice right-back Jeremy Pied, reports Le10Sport.
The player has enjoyed a strong season at the club, having been converted from a right winger to a right-back by manager Claude Puel.
His contract is set to expire next month though, and up to now he has not agreed a new deal to extend his stay.
Instead, his fine performances this season have put him in a strong position to take advantage and seek a move elsewhere.
He has certainly attracted a lot of attention, with Rennes and Saint-Etienne both reportedly interested in his services.
They are not the only ones though, with Premier League side West Ham United also now being reported by Le10Sport as another potential destination.
The Hammers are in need of a new right-back, having been forced to use Michail Antonio in the position after injuries to Sam Byram and Carl Jenkinson.
That is not something they want to be doing long term so they will need reinforcements for next season, and Pied could be a cheap and relatively risk free option.
