West Ham United decided against letting Domingos Quina join Scunthorpe United on loan.

Quina was all set to head out on a temporary spell at League One level, as West Ham wanted him to gain first-team experience.
However, the 18-year-old ended up staying at the London Stadium, as the Hammers were demanding too much money.

West Ham wanted a big fee from Scunthorpe for Quina, and the Iron decided against going through with a deal.
Quina is now due to remain at West Ham for the remainder of the season, and his challenge of breaking into the first-team looks a tough one.

The Hammers are out of all cup competitions, which leaves them purely fighting for Premier League survival.
Quina is yet to make his top flight debut, with David Moyes preferring his more experienced options.
Quina could now be forced to play another six months’ worth of action with West Ham’s under-23 side, as he looks to continue to progress.
