According to The Sun, Blackburn Rovers are demanding a £25million fee for West Ham United striker target Adam Armstrong.
It’s claimed that West Ham are leading the hunt for Armstrong, but he will cost a lot more than David Moyes was looking to pay.
West Ham allegedly wanted to pay £10million for Armstrong this summer, only for Rovers to now demand more than twice that figure.
Armstrong is out of contract in the summer of 2022, meaning he is now inside the final 18 months of his deal at Ewood Park.
Blackburn believe they are in a position to demand a huge fee for Armstrong having seen Ollie Watkins join Aston Villa for a similar price last summer.
Additionally, Newcastle have a 40% sell-on clause on Armstrong, meaning Blackburn are attempting to squeeze every last penny out of a deal.

The 24-year-old has hit 20 goals in 34 games for Rovers this season, as well as picking up three assists in the process.
His pace on the break could be ideal for West Ham, whilst he has the versatility to play on either flank too, which may be driving Moyes’ interest.
Unless the Hammers come up with a much better offer though, they may struggle to prise Armstrong away from the Championship club.
