West Ham United’s moves for Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will reportedly be rejected by Manchester United.
According to ESPN, Manchester United have ruled out the possibility of sending Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford out on loan to West Ham United.
The Hammers are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window, and a number of strikers are being linked with Slaven Bilic’s men.

Earlier this week, The Telegraph reported that West Ham were set to make ambitious enquiries for Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in the hope of taking them on loan in January.
Rashford, 19, burst onto the scene with eight goals in 18 games, earning a place in England’s Euro 2016 squad, but has mostly played on the left of midfield under Jose Mourinho this season, meaning he has scored just three Premier League goals in 14 appearances.

Meanwhile, French attacker Martial joined the club from Monaco in a deal which could cost £58million (BBC Sport) back in 2015, and also thrived last season with 17 goals in 49 games.
Under Mourinho though, the 21-year-old has struggled for first-team football, and has scored just one Premier League goal, though did score twice in a recent EFL Cup tie against West Ham.
West Ham were seemingly set to test United’s resolve and ask for either player on loan to boost their flagging attack, but ESPN report that the Red Devils have completely ruled out any chance of either player leaving for the London Stadium.
That would leave West Ham having to look elsewhere for new signings in January, as Bilic is crying out for a new striker given how summer signing Simone Zaza has flopped in East London, and looks set to cut his loan spell short next month.
