West Ham are reportedly close to signing the teenager on Monday.

Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla has claimed on his website that West Ham United are to complete the signing of Benfica teenager Mesaque Dju today [Monday].
West Ham brought in Samir Nasri on December 31 but have not made any signings from other clubs in the window, but that seems as though it is about to change with Dju expected to put pen to paper.
The exciting Benfica attacker is highly rated with the Portuguese side, having played for every Portugal youth side up until the Under-20’s. He has scored two goals in nine Under-20 caps.
Dju boasts bags of pace and is naturally a right winger, but can play on either flank and has been known to chance his arm up front. The Bissau-born Portuguese ace has impressed Benfica so much, he has even played for the club’s reserves.

Indeed, Dju has turned out eight times for Benfica’s B-team, who play in the second tier of Portuguese football – known as Ledman Liga Pro. He has even scored, finding the net in a 3-2 loss to Santa Clara.
Now, the Hammers are set to make their first signing of the January window in the 19-year-old attacker, with the report claiming Dju will sign a contract with the Hammers today.
