Could West Ham United add another exciting French player to their ranks?
According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Ham United are planning a summer swoop for Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
Back in January the Guardian claimed the Hammers were scouting the Marseille youngster and now the Mail suggests Slaven Bilic’s side will make their move for the 21-year-old during the upcoming summer transfer window.
West Ham made some outstanding signings last year, most of whom proved to be master-strokes with the likes of Michail Antonio, Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet all playing a vital role in their climb up the Premier League table and their progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals. However, Bilic will not stand still in his bid to turn the club into London’s finest once more.
N’Koudou has played 33 matches for Marseille this season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in the process, and while he only recently moved from Ligue 1 rivals Nantes it is being claimed his current club would be willing to cash in on him this summer for the right price.
Considering the attacking players currently at Upton Park, Bilic will have to ensure any new additions are better than what he already has; although strength in depth will also play a vital role if West Ham qualify for Europe next season.
