West Ham United are reportedly closing in on striker Mipo Odubeko.

According to a report from 90Min, West Ham United think they’re closing in on the signing of former Manchester United striker Mipo Odubeko.
Odubeko, 16, decided to leave United in June when his contract expired, choosing to reject a new deal to stay at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were desperate to keep him after seeing him score 35 goals last season, but he’s walking out – and now looks set to find a new club at last.
It’s claimed that West Ham are in talks to sign Odubeko, and despite strong interest from elsewhere, they think they’re about to secure his signature.
The Irish teenager looks set to make the move to East London, but despite him being out of contract at United, they will be owed compensation if his move does go through.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus were all interested, whilst the Daily Mail claim that Newcastle United were strongly keen on signing Odubeko this summer.
Odubeko will of course head into the West Ham youth ranks if a deal happens, but there will be real optimism that he can become a star, having been touted for a big future at United.
