West Ham target Marco Silva would prefer to live in London following Watford stint and therefore they can beat Everton to his signing.

West Ham United have not given up hope of appointing Marco Silva as their new manager, despite the Guardian reporting Everton are aiming to hire the former Watford boss.
The Toffees had wanted Silva, then at Vicarage Road, back in October when Ronald Koeman was sacked but no deal could be agreed with the Hornets.

The 40-year-old was then axed himself in January, with the Hertfordshire club making a complaint to the Premier League about their Merseyside counterparts because of an alleged illegal approach and the dispute is still ongoing.
Hammers to swoop?
Despite a switch to Goodison Park seeming like the most likely outcome for Silva currently, West Ham still think they could land the Portuguese themselves.

The East Londoners are also on the hunt for a new man in the dugout following the departure of David Moyes, with Newcastle United’s Rafa Benitez and former Manchester City chief Manuel Pellegrini also on the wishlist.
According to the Mirror, they believe they can tempt Silva to join them instead of Everton because of their London location, with the ex-Hull City manager preferring to stay in the south of England following his spell at Watford.
