West Ham United are reportedly considering a move for Zito Luvumbo.

According to SAPO Desporto, West Ham United are targeting the signing of 1º de Agosto striker Zito Luvumbo – but will face a battle for his signature.
The Hammers managed to bring in a couple of attackers over the summer, landing Sebastien Haller and Albian Ajeti to replenish their striking ranks.
They’ve also taken in a few young attackers in recent times, with Xande Silva and Mesaque Dju arriving in East London, and another one appears to be on the radar.
It’s claimed that West Ham are interested in snapping up Angolan teenager Luvumbo, but will face competition from Lille and Boavista.
Luvumbo, 17, was in action for 1º de Agosto against Desportivo da Huila in Angola’s top flight last week, and not only scored one of the goals in a 2-0 win but won the penalty for the other.
That impressive display appears to have sparked interest, and it seems like a matter of time before Luvumbo leaves Angolan football for a move to Europe.

In fact, The Sun noted earlier this year that Manchester United had taken Luvumbo on trial, following in the footsteps of compatriot Manucho.
United didn’t follow up the trial with a move, meaning West Ham may well be able to get in and sign the teenager, but with competition in France and Portugal, it promises to be a battle for the attacker’s signature.
