West Ham United target Sami Khedira is more likely to leave Juventus than Blaise Matuidi, according to the Daily Mail.

Juve are looking to offload a number of players this summer, and Khedira is now in real danger of being cut by the Italian champions.

West Ham are said to be wanting to land Khedira by Calcio Mercato, as they look to take advantage of the situation.

It seems that Juve are willing to offload either Khedira or Matuidi this summer.

And West Ham could be buoyed to learn that it is the German who is most likely to depart.

If Khedira was to join West Ham he would add experience and skill to their midfield ranks.

Although the 33-year-old may be reaching the twilight of his career, he still could be a valuable addition.

Khedira would be a great mentor for a youngster like Declan Rice, who is still developing at the London Stadium.

And the latest reports should offer West Ham encouragement that a transfer could be a possibility.
