West Ham United are reportedly hoping to beat Liverpool to the signature of Lukasz Teodorczyk.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United are hoping to beat Premier League rivals Liverpool to the signature of Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.
The Hammers brought in attacking reinforcements over the summer, having landed winger Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City and striker Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen – but manager Slaven Bilic still has problems to work through.
West Ham have won just twice this season as manager Slaven Bilic remains under pressure, and with question marks over Diafra Sakho’s long-term future in East London, another forward could be targeted to challenge with Hernandez and Andy Carroll.

Now, The Mirror report that West Ham are interested in signing Anderlecht hitman Lukasz Teodorczyk, and hope to beat Liverpool to his signature.
It’s claimed that West Ham have been watching Teodorczyk this season, including Anderlecht’s recent 3-0 home defeat to Celtic in the Champions League, and could launch a move to sign him in January.
The Polish international, 26, hit 30 goals in all competitions last season having joined Anderlecht on loan from Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev, before completing a permanent move to the Belgian side this past summer.

This term, Teodorczyk has scored just twice in 11 games, but West Ham appear to still be keen on signing the centre forward, potentially handing Bilic another attacking option to work with.
The threat of Liverpool hanging over them is a concern, with Jurgen Klopp possibly looking to another Polish goalscorer having worked with Robert Lewandowski with great effect at Borussia Dortmund, but West Ham could offer more first-team football to try and win the race.
