According to Sport, Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo is ‘looking to leave this month’, amid speculation that West Ham United are interested in him.
Mundo Deportivo reported in December 2020 that West Ham are interested in signing Firpo from Barcelona in the January transfer window.
Barcelona are open to sending Firpo out on loan, according to a report in Gianlucadimarzio.com this month.
Sport has now claimed that the left-back himself is looking to leave Barcelona this month due to lack of playing time.
Junior Firpo Stats
According to WhoScored, Firpo has made one start and three substitute appearances in La Liga and has made one start and four substitute appearances in the Champions League for Barcelona so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the Spaniard made 11 starts and six substitute appearances in the league and made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for the Spanish giants, according to WhoScored.

Good signing for West Ham United?
With Arthur Masuaku injured at the moment, West Ham do need cover at left-back for the next few weeks at least.
Aaron Cresswell is the first-choice left-back at the Hammers at the moment, and while that is unlikely to change anytime soon, Firpo would be a good back-up to have in the squad for manager David Moyes.
