West Ham United seemingly won’t be signing Jordan Zemura this summer as the Bournemouth defender prepares to join Udinese.

The Hammers may be in for another left back this summer even after securing Emerson Palmieri last summer.

Neither Emerson nor Aaron Cresswell have really been at the level West Ham wanted this season.

90MIn reported in March that West Ham were looking to pounce for Bournemouth left back Zemura.

That report indicated that West Ham were leading the race for Zemura, who is out of contract this summer.

That certainly made sense given that talkSPORT claimed last summer that West Ham wanted Zemura.

West Ham’s long-standing pursuit of Zemura looks set to be fruitless though as the Cherries star is heading elsewhere.

TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook now reports that Zemura has been banished from the Bournemouth squad.

The 23-year-old won’t even be considered for first-team matches and has been sent to train with the development squad.

It’s stated that Zemura hasn’t even responded to an offer worth more than £30,000-a-week in wages.

Crook claims that Bournemouth have now received a message from Italian club Udinese, indicating that they will be speaking to Zemura about a move to Italy.

The Cherries suspect that Zemura has already agreed the move though, without informing them of his departure.

It’s all getting a bit ugly now and Zemura certainly won’t be staying at the South Coast barring a miraculous turn of events.

The Zimbabwe international would have made perfect sense as a West Ham signing, giving the Hammers a young, attacking option at left back.

Instead, Zemura looks poised to replace Tottenham Hotspur-bound Destiny Udogie as Udinese’s new left wing back – though the cynics may suggest that he will simply end up at sister club Watford one day.
