West Ham United are reportedly looking to land Nice midfielder Jean Seri.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United target Jean Seri wants a move to the Premier League – despite continued talks with Italian giants Napoli.
West Ham have been busy in the transfer market this week, snapping up Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and Toulouse defender Issa Diop, with talks ongoing for Alfie Mawson and Felipe Anderson.
If those deals also go through, West Ham will surely turn their attentions to a central midfielder, given that new boss Manuel Pellegrini has uninspiring options such as Mark Noble and Cheikhou Kouyate in the middle of the park.

On Wednesday, news broke from Tuttomercatoweb that West Ham were in fact leading the race to sign Nice midfielder Jean Seri after launching a ‘concrete offer’ for the Ivorian, and speculation has continued today.
Sky Sports report that Seri and his representatives want a move to the Premier League, having also been linked with moves to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City this summer.
Seri’s agent has been in talks with Napoli today, and Seri himself is expected to be in Italy next week to continue negotiations with the Italian side, but West Ham have been given real hope of signing the midfielder.

Seri, 26, has starred for Nice since his 2015 move from Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal, and the diminutive midfield maestro is unsurprisingly attracting interest having caught the eye with his passing, technique and set pieces.
West Ham will hope to sign Seri, who has a £35million release clause, despite the mounting interest, and will hope that his Premier League desire helps them beat Napoli to an ambitious signing.
