The young Frenchman is a reported summer target for West Ham United.

According to a report from French media outlet Le 10 Sport, West Ham have launched a bid to sign FC Lorient winger Alexis Claude-Maurice, and have made an offer in excess of €10 million (£9 million) for the young Frenchman.
The 21-year-old was in fine form in France last season, racking up an impressive 14 goals and four assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, and he would be a really exciting addition for the Hammers.
The France under-20 international is a left winger by trade, but he can also operate as an auxiliary central midfielder.
West Ham seem to be a team on the rise, and their fans will surely get behind them signing someone with Claude-Maurice’s talent and potential.
The Lorient ace possesses blistering pace, and he plays with a certain kind of directness that would make him ideally suited to Manuel Pellegrini’s setup at the London Stadium.

One potential problem, however, could be his lack of physical prowess, and the jump up to the Premier League might just be a challenging one for him.
He does have incredible potential, though, and should West Ham sign him this summer, he could turn out to be a real coup for the east London outfit.
