West Ham United have reportedly submitted a new bid for Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United have submitted a new £5million bid for Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass, having failed with a £3million move on Friday.

The Hammers are being linked with a host of strikers right now, but Slaven Bilic may also be keen on another winger given speculation over his current wide men.

Dimitri Payet is wanted by former club Marseille (L’Equipe), Chelsea are casting admiring glances at Michail Antonio (The Mirror), Roma are determined to sign Sofiane Feghouli after having one loan bid rejected according to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, and Besiktas loanee Gokhan Tore has been a major flop, meaning he could be sent back to Turkey.

On Friday, Sky Sports reported that West Ham had offered £3million to sign Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass, but received a swift answer as the Tigers rejected their bid.

Now, Sky Sports offer an update on the story, claiming that West Ham have increased their bid for Snodgrass to £5million in the hope of tempting Hull into a deal this month.

Snodgrass, 29, has been the star of Hull’s season so far, as he has hit seven goals and two assists for the Tigers, as well as adding two more goals in the EFL Cup.

Those performances, coupled with his decision to reject a new long-term deal at the KCOM Stadium, have led to speculation about his future, and West Ham are hoping to pounce.

Snodgrass still has 18 months left on his contract though, and given that he’s Hull’s best hope of staying in the Premier League, it’s unlikely that the Tigers will accept £5million for their star player midway through the season.
