Leicester City and West Ham United reportedly want Moussa Marega.
According to a report from Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha, West Ham United remain keen on Porto striker Moussa Marega – but Leicester City have joined the race.
The Hammers are expected to be overhauling their striking options this summer, with four attackers potentially leaving the London Stadium at the end of the season.
Marko Arnautovic, Lucas Perez, Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll could all move on, leaving Manuel Pellegrini with a major task on his hands to overhaul the final third.
One name strongly linked last summer was Porto ace Marega, with Sapo Desporto reporting that Marega wanted to join the Hammers, but was priced out of a move by Porto.
Now, Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha report that West Ham still hold an interest in Marega, but are now being rivalled by Leicester City.
The Foxes allegedly scouted Marega in action against Roma in the Champions League, and may look to land the Malian this summer to bolster their attacking options around Jamie Vardy.
The 27-year-old has hit 17 goals and 10 assists in 34 games this season, continuing to star in the Porto attack having scored 23 times last term.
A physical striker with great work rate and pace to get in behind defences, Marega is an all-round centre forward at the peak of his powers right now, and whilst Leicester appear to be very keen, West Ham should be looking to finally land Marega this summer to add something different to their attack.
