West Ham United have doubts over pushing through a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, the Telegraph report.
Loftus-Cheek is still available for loan this summer, even though Chelsea have just let Ross Barkley join Aston Villa.
However, West Ham apparently have doubts over whether to push through a deal due to his injury record.
Loftus-Cheek is also on £150,000-a-week wages at Stamford Bridge, meaning he could be a costly capture even on a season-long basis.
If West Ham could get Loftus-Cheek back to his best then he unquestionably would be an excellent addition to David Moyes’s side’s midfield.
But it is now a long time since Loftus-Cheek showed his best form and he seems to have fallen a long way down the pecking order with Frank Lampard’s side.

Loftus-Cheek would surely receive more game time at West Ham, if he was to join.
But with the Hammers still aiming to sign defenders, it remains to be seen whether they will sanction a deal for Loftus-Cheek before deadline day, or allow one of his other suitors to take him.
