According to The Mirror, West Ham United are prepared to offer Michail Antonio another new contract this season – if he can keep up his consistency.
The Hammers have had a miserable start to the campaign, but one shining light for them has been winger Antonio.

The 26-year-old, snapped up from Nottingham Forest back in September 2015, enjoyed a stunning first season in East London, as he bagged nine goals in all competitions.
Already this term, Antonio has hit five goals in seven Premier League games, meaning only Diego Costa has scored more goals than him so far this season.

An England call-up has followed for Antonio, who has become a key player for Slaven Bilic thanks to his work rate, stamina, pace, power and even his heading ability, as he often gets on the end of Dimitri Payet crosses.
Antonio only signed a new deal with West Ham back in July, keeping him at the club until 2020 – but he is now in line for yet another new contract.

The Mirror report that, whilst Antonio is only three months into his most recent contract, West Ham could yet hand him another new deal before the end of the season, on the condition that he keeps up his form on a consistent basis.
Antonio isn’t going to keep up his phenomenal scoring rate throughout the whole season, but showing the same desire and attacking threat could earn him another lucrative contract as he establishes himself as one of West Ham’s most important players.
