West Ham United are reportedly amongst the host of sides reportedly interested in Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Fellaini has endured a turbulent time at Old Trafford, and has been a fairly peripheral figure for Jose Mourinho this season, starting just three times in the Premier League with a further six appearances coming from the bench.

Despite not featuring often he has made an impact for the Red Devils, scoring three times in the top flight while finding the back of the net in the emphatic win over Basel in the Champions League back in September.
The Mail’s live transfer feed (4th January 2018; 14:36) reports that the 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and David Moyes – who brought him to United during his brief tenure – is interested in signing him for the Irons, presumably in the summer.

However, it appears that the Hammers face a significant amount of competition for the Belgian’s signature, with the Mail adding that Besiktas and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen. And with the Mail suggesting that Fellaini would expect lucrative terms if he becomes a free agent, it may well be an uphill battle for Moyes to convince him to come to the London Stadium.
Certainly, West Ham’s task of landing Fellaini will be virtually impossible if they do not manage to stay up this season. And they will be hoping to move themselves even further away from the relegation zone when they face Tottenham at Wembley – a ground they have already won at this season – tonight.
