West Ham United reportedly wanted Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa before he moved to Fulham.

Fulham signed Anguissa from Marseille on summer transfer deadline day for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £30 million.
French publication L’Equipe has claimed that West Ham wanted to gazump the deal at the last minute and showed late interest.
Good signing for Fulham?
Anguissa is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and the 22-year-old is a very good signing for Fulham.
The Cameroon international is still very young, but there is no doubt that the 22-year-old is going to get better in the coming years.
While the reported transfer fee of £30m does appear quite a lot, what Fulham have signed is potential.

Disappointment for West Ham United?
West Ham’s reported late interest in Anguissa shows just how much he was in demand, and one suspects that the London club will be disappointed that they have missed out on the midfielder.
The Hammers, though, have made quite a number of quality signings, and the London Stadium faithful should be confident.
