West Ham United continue to be linked with Samir Nasri.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United have told Samir Nasri that he has until New Year to get himself fit and earn a contract with the club.
The Hammers have lost Andriy Yarmolenko for the rest of the season, and playmaker Manuel Lanzini won’t be back until around February after a lengthy absence.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini is therefore considering other options in search of creativity in 2019, and he is seeking a reunion with his ex-Manchester City ace Nasri.
Earlier this week, West Ham were thought to be giving Nasri a medical ahead of a deal until the end of the season, but concerns over his fitness resulted in the deal being put on the backburner.
Now, The Mirror report that Nasri still has a chance to earn a deal, as West Ham have told him that he has a strict New Year deadline to get himself fit – and then he could earn a contract.
West Ham allegedly feel that Nasri turned up ‘overweight’, which left the Hammers rethinking the deal, but Pellegrini’s insistence on a reunion with the Frenchman means a 2019 move could still be on the cards.

Nasri, 31, is a free agent having been released by Turkish side Antalyaspor in January, and has been out of the game due to a doping ban, with a January return in sight for the playmaker.
Under Pellegrini, Nasri hit 15 goals in 87 games at City, and would be looking to recapture some form upon a Premier League return as he seeks to rebuild his reputation.
