Dimitri Payet appears to have damaged his relationship with West Ham United potentially beyond repair, and Marseille seem ready to move.
A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that West Ham United will consider letting Dimitri Payet go if they receive an offer of £35 million, while the Daily Mail is suggesting that Marseille are weighing up an interesting proposal for the Hammers regarding their former player.
The Mirror reports that Payet has told Slaven Bilic that he does not want to play for the Irons again, and the owners are ready to cash in and spend the money on potential targets.

But any club that wants to sign the playmaker will have to part with £35 million, the Mirror adds.
However, the Mail has suggested that the Ligue 1 side are considering offering West Ham a deal that would see Payet sign during the January window but spend the rest of the campaign on loan at the London Stadium.
It is arguably difficult to imagine that the bid that Marseille are considering making will be warmly received unless it involves a fee that comes close to the asking price that the Irons have set, even with Payet potentially returning to the Premier League for the rest of the campaign.

The 29-year-old has damaged his relationship with the club to the point that surely only by fully committing his future to the Hammers can he repair the situation, so it seems unlikely that returning to the side on loan would appease the fans.
And with West Ham bagging an impressive win over Crystal Palace at the weekend without Payet, Bilic may feel that keeping the midfielder around may be an unhelpful distraction.
