According to Fotospor in Turkey, West Ham United are interested in signing Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar ahead of the transfer deadline.
It’s claimed that West Ham want Aboubakar and would offer a price that would satisfy Besiktas, with Porto also interested.
West Ham want to speak to Aboubakar’s agent and he would travel to London to discuss personal terms, but Aboubakar is currently happy with Besiktas and doesn’t want to leave until the summer.
He allegedly doesn’t want to let Besiktas down this season as he feels respected there, and now wants to show some loyalty having made enough money in his career.
The 29-year-old has smashed 11 goals in 16 league games this season, having joined from Porto in September; seems strange that Porto would want him back so soon!
Aboubakar, a Cameroon international, is out of contract at the end of the season though, having only signed a one-year deal with Besiktas.

West Ham seemingly fancied taking him to England in a potential bargain deal, but the striker seems reluctant to move right now.
David Moyes needs to find a striker having lost Sebastien Haller to Ajax this month, but it seems that they will have to find an alternative target unless Aboubakar has a change of heart.
