The Hammers winger has effectively gone on strike at the London Stadium.
It is being reported by The Sun that West Ham United have rejected a second bid for their star player Dimitri Payet.
The report claims that after talks with Marseille chiefs this afternoon the Hammers made the French side aware they had no intent on selling the player. A third bid is expected later this week as the Marseille hierarchy go to count their pennies for another approach.

The report claims that West Ham want Payet to publicly apologise for his actions before returning to first-team football and that a sale is simply not on the cards.
Payet has been one of West Ham’s better players under the management of Slaven Bilic but has recently disgraced himself at the club.

But it seems the West Ham board do not want to be seen held to ransom by one of their players and are looking to keep him in situ until he breaks.
