West Ham United snapped up Xande Silva over the summer.

According to Football.London, West Ham United received loan offers for summer signing Xande Silva – but turned them all down.
The Hammers brought in a host of new signings over the summer, splashing out on the likes of Issa Diop, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko.
One of the less-heralded signings was winger Xande Silva, with the Portuguese talent arriving from Vitoria Guimaraes for around £2million (The Mirror).
The 21-year-old has been a regular for Portugal across various age groups, and looks set for a bright future, with the Hammers keen to develop.
Silva has already starred for West Ham’s developmental side, and will be hoping to push on and impress manager Manuel Pellegrini, with reports now emerging about his West Ham situation.
Football.London report that a number of Football League clubs made offers to take Silva on loan before last month’s deadline, but West Ham knocked them all back.

It’s claimed that Pellegrini has a plan to keep close tabs on Silva, as he could hand him a swift promotion to the first team if he continues to impress in the development ranks.
With pace and an eye for goal, Silva could be a surprise package for West Ham – but the Hammers may re-consider in January if he hasn’t progressed quite enough.
