West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing the Brazilian winger.

According to a report from the Mirror (live transfer blog, August 3rd, 12:44), West Ham are ready to step up their interest in signing free agent Bernard, as Manuel Pellegrini looks to add further quality to his attacking ranks at the London Stadium.
The Brazilian is available on a free transfer this summer, following the expiration of his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk, bringing an end a successful five year spell with the Ukrainian club.
Pellegrini has already spent heavily this summer, bringing a whole host of exciting new faces into the club, and if the Chilean added Bernard to his ranks, West Ham fans really would begin to dream.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Hammers are set to ramp up their interest in signing the 25-year-old, but they will face stiff competition from AC Milan for his signature.

The former Atlético Mineiro star can play anywhere along the front-line, and possesses a certain type of trickery and creativity that would undoubtedly help West Ham improve upon the potency of their attacking play.
And his availability on a free transfer makes a move for him a complete no-brainer for the Hammers.
