West Ham United look set to table a £30m bid for the marksman.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is ready to cough up the £30 million needed to sign Lyon hitman Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to The Mirror.
The 25-year-old striker has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League and the Hammers’ London rivals Tottenham Hotspur were also reportedly keen.

According to The Mirror in April, Spurs were ‘almost certain’ to sign the Frenchman – who has netted 48 league goals over the past two seasons with Lyon – but their interest seems to have cooled in recent months.
The Mirror now claim that Bilic will lodge a £30 million bid as the Irons chase a prolific goalscorer to help them kick on in the Premier League next season.

West Ham need a heavy goalscorer more than Tottenham, with Harry Kane netting 25 times in the Premier League last term to scoop the Golden Boot.
Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho – who is expected to leave West Ham – are Bilic’s only out-and-out strikers and neither are going to score enough goals to propel the Irons to a new footing in English football.
