West Ham United have reportedly joined the race to sign Osmanlispor star Papa Ndiaye.
According to The Sun, West Ham United are the latest Premier League club to join the race to sign Osmanlispor midfielder Papa Ndiaye.
The Hammers are keen to add new faces during this month’s transfer window after an underwhelming season so far, with many expecting Slaven Bilic to move for a right back and a striker; two problem positions for the club.

However, West Ham could yet move to land another midfielder given that Dimitri Payet is pushing for a move away from the club, and a Europa League ace appears to be on the club’s radar.
The Sun report that West Ham have joined the race to sign Osmanlispor ace Papa Ndiaye, who has been impressing in the Europa League this season.

Ndiaye, 26, is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations, as he’s a part of the Senegal squad alongside West Ham star Cheikhou Kouyate, and he appears to be at the centre of a Premier League battle for his signature.
With five goals and two assists in 15 Turkish Super Lig games – as well as a goal and an assist in the Europa League – Ndiaye has caught the eye this season, and West Ham are believed to be plotting a January deal.
Just last week, the Daily Mail reported that Crystal Palace and Everton were both keen to sign Ndiaye, with a deal potentially costing around £6million.
Now, West Ham have joined the race, with Ndiaye’s pace and goalscoring ability no doubt attracting great interest – and we could see him move in the next two weeks, even though he’s at the Africa Cup of Nations.
