West Ham United may be ready to cash in on Domingos Quina this summer if reports are correct.

It appeared to be something of a coup when West Ham landed the Portuguese in 2016. He had previously been involved in both Benfica’s and Chelsea’s academies before joining the Hammers and it appeared that he could perfectly complement the cluster of exciting youngsters that have been coming through over the last few years.

And that excitement would have only increased after he made his debut for the Irons as a 16-year-old in a Europa League qualifier in the same year that he joined. Unfortunately for Quina however, he has not exactly kicked on since then.
The 18-year-old is still awaiting his Premier League debut and has only made a handful of appearances in the other competitions. And it appears that he may not get that chance to appear in the top flight for Pellegrini’s men.

Sky Sports reports on their live transfer blog (28/06; 16:44) that West Ham are ready to welcome offers for the teenager this summer. Transfermarkt shows that he is out of contract with the club next summer.
Given his contract situation and the fact that he has not exactly been knocking on the door too often, it is probably not too much of a surprise that they are prepared to move him on this summer. However, it is undoubtedly an outcome that few would have expected when he was a 16-year-old making his debut less than two years ago.
