West Ham United are reportedly preparing a formal move for Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite.

West Ham will be looking to bolster their forward line this summer. The Hammers have been linked with a handful of strikers already, and the latest name doing the rounds in the rumour mill is Martin Braithwaite.
According to reports from The Sun, the Hammers are weighing up a £7.5 million move for the striker who plays for the Ligue 1 side, Toulouse.
Scotland’s Craig Gordon makes a save from Denmark’s Martin Braithwaite
The Danish forward, like Michail Antonio, is a versatile player who is capable of playing in multiple positions. While he operates mainly as a striker, the 26-year-old is capable of playing as a left attacking midfielder and as a no 10 as well.
With a natural tendency of cutting inside, he has bags of trickery under his sleeves, and would be a solid addition to the Hammers squad. Last season, he scored 12 goals for the French outfit.

The 26-year-old will come at an affordable price, but Slaven Bilic cannot afford to gamble too much, having seen some of his recent signings fail miserably.
The report adds that Braithwaite is keen on a move to England, and West Ham should try to secure his deal at the earliest.
