West Ham United are reportedly keen on Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel.
According to the Daily Express, West Ham United are keen on Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel as Slaven Bilic eyes up January reinforcements for his attack.
The Hammers picked up a well-earned point at Liverpool on Sunday, with the 2-2 draw at Anfield buying under-fire Bilic some time to turn things around.

Croatian boss Bilic will certainly want to re-tool his attack in January, as summer signings Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri – on loan from Juventus and Deportivo Maldonado respectively – have yet to score in any competition this season.
With Diafra Sakho injured and Andy Carroll only just coming back from injury himself, Bilic needs a new striker in January – and reports suggest that he could be looking to Italy for another striker, despite Zaza’s struggles.

The Daily Express report that Sassuolo attacker Gregoire Defrel is a top target for West Ham, and they’re believed to be plotting a move to land the Frenchman during next month’s transfer window.
Defrel, 25, actually joined Sassuolo from Cesena in the summer of 2015 as a replacement for West Ham flop Zaza following his move to Juventus, and has impressed with the Serie A club so far.
Not only did he grab seven goals and three assists last season, but he’s already notched eight goals and two assists in all competitions this term, having also impressed in the Europa League.
The report claims that Defrel – who can play up front, out wide or as an attacking midfielder – could cost up to £20m, and Premier League rivals Liverpool are also credited with an interest in Defrel, meaning West Ham may have to move quickly if they want to snap him up in January.
